STAR TREK is 50 years old!/Playing with "boy dolls"

"Spock to Enterprise..."

"The Captain has done something to his leg.  We require immediate medical assistance."

"Enterprise to Mr. Spock, the Doctor is transporting down..."

-"You are not Dr. McCoy!"

-"Of course not, I am Dr. Zaius!"

-"Mr. Scott, the transporter seems to be acting up again."

-"Aye.  And, 'O my poor Bairns!'"

When suddenly...

-"Ah-ha, Captain Kirk!  At last, we meet again."

-"And there is no escape now, James T. Kirk, I have brought friends!"

Happy Birthday, STAR TREK!

  1. Hey Privates....how many toys do you have!! It's nice to see them anyhow.... the action men brought back memories of hot summers in the 70's.

    1. Hi Springsinfeld,

Thank you, and one must always try and keep their toys!! Glad to hear the GI Joes/Action Men brought back some happy memories. I love those guys and want to find more ways of playing with them. Wish I still had Big Jim's camper so they could all go on camping trips together : ) ...

    1. Hi Ross Mac,

Alas, no. Would love one day to have those ones join in the fun. Especially some STAR TREK female yeomans in their wonderful little outfits. I'm sure that would make Kirk and the gang very happy. Might even get kirk's mind off his leg at all...

  3. I'm here via "Oldhammer in Toronto" to say your photography is superb... and now I have the "Dr. Zaius" song from the Simpsons stuck in my head. So, thanks for that ;)

  4. Brilliant stuff. I picked up a case of the 50th anniversary ale at the LC, horrible, but the packaging was pretty and had quotes on the label.

    1. Hey, hey 24 Cigs,

Just am seeing this now! I feel bad that I haven't responded until now. I think this is the second time for a long lapse! Yikes! Anyway, thanks! Haven't heard of the 50th anniversary Ale before, must go looking for it. Thanks for popping by.
