Finally, The Battle Of Bretonnia

Hey, does anyone remember The Wizard What's-His-Name and his trek?

Well, he made it!

I have been wanting to do this for a long time...

Laserburning Over Luke's Old Landspeeder

In bustling Mos Elsewhere...

with its Ewok Tourists...

Tauntaun rides...

and lively Cafe scene...

Greedo was just having one of those days.   First of all, there was that trouble in the Cantatina, and now his brand new (well, new to him) speeder won't start.   (And he had just wanted to impress his brothers!)  Whew, at least nothing else could wrong...

Or could it?...

I hope to play some Laserburn tomorrow night.

Considering The Dangers of the Geek Dad Part One

Yesterday afternoon I GMed a modified 40k game between my 8 year old son and his 9 year old friend.   There was much laughing, hopping, shouting and screaming, and of course, a few suppressed tears.  Much like any good game between adults.

Although, despite all of this, I couldn't help but feel slightly irresponsible.  I mean, shouldn't I be encouraging hockey or football or someother socially acceptable male activity?  And is it right to be answering questions about Rogue Trader, and talking about ebay, with an impressionable nine year old?   Especially knowing of the potential joyful madness that awaits such a journey?

And what about the dangers of the collecting mania??

Ah...parenting...

Hey, what does this button do?

ah, blogging is such a funny addiction...

Visited my blog yesterday and found I now have a browse option again!?!  Not sure what had happened, but I'm gonna dump a bunch of pictures on here before it disappears..

Elf on Elf Action

Warhammer Mash-up.  I thought it would be fun to play a 3rd edition Wood Elf army using 3rd ed. rules against a 6th/7th ed. Wood Elf army using the rules from 6th and 7th.

It was a disaster.

Dark Elves Invade Rome

This time a mix of Third Edition Fantasy and the original WAB.   Outstanding game.  And it seemed to prove that two people could indeed play a shared game using two different  rulesets.  (I know this is utter wank, but I love this kind of stuff.)

The Major's Wonderful Dark Elves.

Poor Rome.

Tax Evasion on Tatooine

The Imperial Collection Agency.

Isn't Income Tax a choice?

A fantastic D20 game with The Kid.
