A cold, rainy night listening to Rush and flipping through old wargames mags, found these great pics and thought I share them...
And I included these last two photos simply because I love them, and have spent much time happily staring at them over the years.
One day I hope this will be the official eternal privates club t-shirt!
Now I can bever get back to gaming in a lousy T-shirt and a pair of jeans...
ReplyDeleteIf I ever make it to the oldhammer event, it's combed hair and tie for me.
Man those pics sure brought a large smile upon my face.
Hey Mr. ALMan,
DeleteGlad it made you smile! And to game well-groomed and suited is the only way! Also, a happy congratulations on the birth of your son!
Thanks Private ! Now I'm back to purchase my gaming tie...
DeleteGreat old photos of the War of the Roses figures, I was so excited when they were released along with the Elizabethan stuff. Good taste in music too...2112?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment, Springisfeld! I think those photos are terrific too - I love the non-digitalness of the images, the colours, the painting style, the group composition, and the minis. Yeah! And Rush! Good old Rush! 2112, (especially side one) is one of my all-time favourites, but last night the Rush mini-marathon was side two of Caress of Steel, Hemispheres, and the first album I ever bought - Moving Pictures. I still love that album! "Exit the warrior..."
DeleteLuvvely stuff! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHey Mouse, you're very welcome! I thought you might dig these too!
